Games We Love but Wish We Could Love Playing
9 hours 40 mins ago
Bad news for Capcom. It looks like Resident Evil 5 has been leaked onto the 'net just days before it's release. It was only leaked a few hours ago, and already many gaming sites have full plot summaries and spoiler footage from the game splattered across their sites. So if you are a Resident Evil fan, you might want to stay away from forums until you get your hands on the game.
This isn't the first time thing has happened to one of Capcom's highly anticipatd games. Last year the PC version of Devil May Cry 4 was leaked before it's release, which (according to Capcom) caused a huge blow to the game's sales.
Capcom's highly-anticipated horror title Resident Evil 5 has already been leaked on torrent sites ten days before its official release.
Like the majority of games publishers, Capcom has faced the headache of piracy in the past. Last year, the company complained that sales of the PC version of Devil May Cry 4 were hit hard by severe piracy.

Anyway, all the reservations I had about controls are gone, you do get used to them with the tutorial, there are a few times when I press X or A to shoot by accident but I make mistakes like that with every game occasionally.
Now I know the whole layout of the game, Im excited. March 13th cannot come sooner!
Aferall, what pirate is going to spend half a grand on equipment to pirate games, when it would have just been cheaper by a mile to buy the actual game?
Get it right.
Idiotic fanboys like you shouldn't be allowed to have a console, i for one am happy that the title is multi-plat as Capcom can rake in more money and continue to make good games.
Your an asshole for stating that it should be PS3 exclusive, as if all 360 owners pirate.
*prepares for the flameboys' attacks*
a) You can play them online until MS catch you (I know people who've had modded consoles since early 07)
b) You can go online with that console (see above).
c) My modded console only cost me £60.
Oh, and if we didn't have to wait extra months for certain games to be released purely because we're not Uhmerikan.
Seriously, do you have a job?
Because £40 is nothing, look at Australia, they have to pay near double the usual price for a game.
And i don't mind waiting, what? An extra month normally. Even though nowadays most games are being released at the exact same time in both America and Europe to cut down on people like you.
he's not the problem, his country's (region's) government and taxes is the problem.
if US gets some game half a year before my region, I will pirate it. and some games aren't even released in say, Europe. at all. if I would be an australian, I'd pirate every single game.
What you should have just said is that you don't give a shit. At least then it would have been valid and believable.
Another thing, how do you know I'm not going to buy a legit copy of Resi5 on release day?
As for me having a job, no not at the minute. For the past 6 months I've been living off the cash I earned in my previous job and the £500 or so I won at the bookies last month. I've got a job interview tomorrow. Wish me luck!!
Gamestop had Halo Wars (which was on the main page of Gamestop) listed at 59.99USD which according to this website (http://www.xe.com/) is around 93AUD. EBgames had Halo Wars at 99.99AUD. Last time I checked 99.99 is not triple 93. Don't get me wrong, I'm going to go and double check after I make this comment just to be safe, but still, it seems like you're telling porkie pies.
edit: Nope. 99.99 is in fact not 3 times as much as 93. Maybe my calculator's faulty.
I dunno how much America is paying for the game. But I'm pretty sure that's triple what Europe and the UK is paying
Rock Band may be a different matter, I know with us they doubled it... and then added an extra tenner.
If you don't have the cash YOU DONT GET THE GOODS. Lack of funds isn't an excuse for pirating.
In fact, out of the 4 consoles I own, 3 of them are able to play pirated games. Which is splendid.
Out of interest, did your mate get 8 hours out of his £40 Live card?
And Hunskelper, do you really only play through a game once? Do you not even touch the cooperative, minigames and multiplayer? Because provided you even moderately explore a game you should get at least 20 hours out of each title.
Of course. That didn't stop me watching the awesomeness. And there is a link to the entire game playout if you go looking. A lot of shit goes down in this title! And by god, I hope someone does not come on here and spoils it for everyone else, who, unlike me has the patience to wait until they have actually played it.
Don't judge me. I'm just an impatient bastard.
Theres also a Youtube video of the ending. Decent quality, and you can definately see what happens.
I'm not judging you. I just think that's .... interesting.
SAY WHAT?!
