Mercenaries Mode Set to Return in Resident Evil 5

Electronic Theatre confirms the existance of the infamous "Mercenaries Mode" in Capcom's forthcoming Resident Evil 5 on PLAYSTATION3 and Xbox360, launching March 13th.

As predictable as it may have been, Electronic Theatre can now officially confirm that Resident Evil 5 will retain the infamous Mercenaries Mode seen in previous Resident Evil titles. Full details received from Capcom this morning follow:

    Wow having finally completed the game I must say:

    RE5 is easily the biggest load of shit in the series I have ever played.Yeh I saw the ending online. So I guess I kinda ruined it but playing is is a whole different story.

    Way to butcher a serious worth of history and lore. Capcom can go to hell for that one.

    They even made this mode worse! GAH!
