Bioshock 2 has now gotten its very own viral site, the site can be found at http://www.somethinginthesea.com/ on the site can be found an article about a girl who has been kidnapped and a picture of a strange looking creature.

A good guess would be that this site will be getting updated regularly.

The site includes various evidence that seems to portray the kidnapping of a little girl by a creature with a helmet that emanates red light. Mysterious!

This site's making Bioshock 2 sound like it could actually be a prequal to Bioshock, since it sounds as if girls are being taken to Rapture, where they'd be turned into Little Sisters.

The letter and news article are dated 1967 and Bioshock was in 1960.

I think they said all a long that the game would be a prequel and a sequel, but they never actuallt elaborated how it'd happen.

Sounds to me like an escaped Daddy mistaking a 7-year old girl for a Sister and 'saving her'. I wonder who J. Lynch is (maybe Jack?).

I think if it was Jack then he would recognise the doll and not be making wild assumptions about it in notes.

But he was unaware of.... well everything until he entered Rapture. Though I think the first game took place in 64-65

If something like this happened and you were Jack, would you say 'Your daughter was taken by a brainwashed man in a diving suit who believed her to be a brainwashed little girl who sucks ADAM, something which can modify genetic structure, from corpses. I can get her back for you, but I'd need a Crossbow, Chemical Thrower and some Eve Hypos.'? Of course not, he'll pretend to not really know what's going on and ease it in for the sake of the little sisters he saved (I'm assuming the good ending is what's followed from, otherwise he'd have blown everything up) and, more importantly, for the sake of not having the police on his ass and being thrown into a mental institute.

    J. Lynch is Jeremiah Lynch, which it says in the new update to the site.

Big Daddies( a newer more mobile Big Daddy, possibly Splicer origin) comes onto land and kidnaps the daughters of the Little sisters that Jack saved, and then it speeds away into the ocean, but possibly in a revamped Sub/pod.

Dragoshi has spoken. Please leave fried chicken on the doorstep. Thanks.

If they were daughters of the saved little sisters then the parents wouldn't be so hopelessly clueless.

      No fried chicken for you.

Parents don't want to show they are connected to the rapture incident. Don't you think it traumatized them enough to the point they want to totally forget it? If they said they had connections, the government would question them/ect.

They'd want to forget it, sure, but with so much of the same happening they'd damn sure try and get something sorted; maybe they'd contact Jack and get him involved.

Besides, how many Little Sisters do you think live on the coast? 'cause that's where all the kidnappings are.

And finally, Bioshock happened in 1960. This is happening in 1967. The little sisters were 7-10 (considering they were around before Jack got there). So the oldest Little Sister would be 17. How can all the kidnappings be for their children when they themselves would only be teenagers?

I'll take that fried chicken with a side of win thank you

          ToW with the win.

But yeah, it makes no sense for it to be the original littler sisters. These kidnappings are all just random little girls. Especially since the latest update shows that there was a kidnapping from an orphanage where a "monster" broke in.

They got married and had children young Or, after jack saved them, the Big Daddies want to take back the sisters taken by Jack, even though they are 17, so we can play as jack again and rerescue them from rapture and the new super daddies. Plus, it would fit into the "good" ending of how they grew up. At teens, they get snatched again, and rescued again, and live out there lives

Except these girls are little girls, with family and whatnot. They have pictures of them in the newspaper as seven years old, and they have parents. The original Little Sisters aren't seven years old and don't have families.
