Battlefront 3 is getting tossed around more then salad (forgive me for how lame that is); rumours were recently about developer Pandemic had the game back home with them, but this is actually false, according to a spokesperson for the company. Can't these studios see the fans want this game, and just finish it!
Pandemic Studios, developer of the original Star Wars: Battlefront games, has denied picking up the third Battlefront instalment from the remnants of troubled TimeSplitters dev Free Radical, which was originally working on the third game.
"As of right now I can say Battlefront III is not currently at Pandemic," a company spokesperson confirmed on its web forums. "While I know the title seems to be up in the air from all the buzz around the web... LucasArts will be the only one knowing where the title is at right now," he or she added.

Well there goes some of my happiness.
Just as long as there's a Battlefront III being made, I'm a happy person.
Lucasarts may simply pass the title over to the boys behind Force Unleashed though. I wouldn't have a problem with that, if they can use that technology in a battlefront game? Uber.
