Electronic Arts has announced that their EA Montreal studio is hard at work on Army of Two: The 40th Day. It will be released this Winter on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable and Xbox 360.

Little was revealed about the game. But EA did say main characters Rios and Salem will return as they find themselves stuck in a Shanghai, China that is being struck by terrorist attacks that look like natural disasters. Like all sequels, EA also promised that the main gimmick of the first game, the co-op moves, would be greatly improved and expanded on in the sequel.

Aw, I was gonna post this.

Anyway, I didn't play the first game, but I might look into this when it comes out.

The first game was a decent rental title. I'll definitely consider this one.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first game, played through the story three times, heh. The graphics were decent, Co-Op gameplay was refreshing, and some animations were amusing. Improve on MP and I'll be happy with this one.

    Sweet...more Co-Op moves. Now this is a Co-Op shooter.

I was hoping they would make a 2nd game. I loved the first one too Storm, might've even played through it more than 3 times, I was just incredibly happy with it.

Sounds more like an expansion pack than a sequel, but guess they couldn't call it Army of Two 2 could they?

Lol, I wish they would've though, I bet EA was afraid of getting grief over it.

haha nope. then it would get abbreviated to Army of 2 2, then Army of 22. army of twenty-two?? WTFzorz.

and they couldnt call it Army of 3 unless they added a new character.
