Electronic Theatre reports on a rather nasty turn of events - apparently, the team's own Steam account seems to be involved in some hacking scam, having received an e-mail from someone claiming to be part of the Steam Community.

Electronic Theatre has received a rather disturbing e-mail from an unknown source. Claiming to be a part of the Steam Community, the e-mail informs us that Steam’s database has been compromised and our account may be lost. The e-mail then recommends we follow the included link in order to avoid deletion, and therefore, removal of all services, from the database.

Oldest trick in the book and tbh if anyone is willing to fall for this certainly deserves to have their account stolen.

If you are paranoid about this sort of thing after reading said email then at least use common sense and don't use the link in the email. Open up your browser and pump the link you usually type then login.
