Proof that Bethesda Software cares. Sorta.

As promised yesterday, they've fixed the problems with "The Pitt" DLC and returned it to Xbox LIVE. Feel free to download the new version without fear. And if you're worried because you've already paid for the DLC, rest assured you can re-download it any time for free from Marketplace (that's how it works with other paid DLC too, fyi).

The official Bethesda blog also had instructions for gamers who still have the old corrupted version...

If you downloaded the (corrupted) file that was originally available, you will need to delete it before downloading the new version. If you haven’t deleted DLC content before, here’s the steps you’ll want to take:

* Sign in to Xbox LIVE then press the guide button
* Go to Settings->System Settings->Memory.
* From here, scroll down to Fallout 3 and press A.
* Select Fallout 3: The Pitt (Marketplace Content) press A then choose Delete, then Yes to Delete (make sure not to delete any of your game saves)

    Re-downloaded it and was EXTREMELY HAPPY to no longer see the goddamn exclamation marks.

    I am happy to say i've been playing it for like, 25minutes and am thoroughly enjoying it.

    Only thing is it crashed on me and i hadn't saved it for like 10minutes rofl. But crashing is to be expected on Fallout 3 so im not too arsed.

    Good to know that they are keeping themselves in check and fixed this. Hope it's worth it, guys who bought it! I'll be sure to buy it for myself when I get my xbox 360 fixed.
