Hideo Kojima, the father of the Metal Gear Solid series has confirmed that his next project (not MGS related) will be announced at this year's E3. This is from the man himself, so it's pretty much concrete, though apart from that he was unwilling to let anything else slip.

While no concrete name, genre or details were given, Kojima did say that work was indeed underway and that "An official game announcement will be made at E3."

Nice. ZOE3, or a new franchise, I wonder. I hope for the latter.

It's clearly not a Metal Gear related game, so all the fanboys foaming out the mouth about a 360 MGS4 port all over the net can settle down.

I hope it is ZOE3, that series has been stagnant all too long.

      Zone Of the Enders.

You basically pilot this huge mech (called an Orbital Frame) and kick the shit out of other huge mechs. You have a sword on your arm, homing lasers, quick dash moves to evade, Zero Shift which teleports you difrectly towards your enemies...bottomline is you have tons of weapons and cool moves and fight innumerable hordes at once. Its one of the most intense games I've ever played. Well, ZOE2 was. The first was OK, but the second blew me away. The second is sort of an anime so it might not be for everyone, but the gameplay is pure awesome.
