Visual-spatial skills are said to be boosted, and gaming helps kids think with images according to the study of 12-year-olds. They were described by Prof. Linda Jackson as "training wheels" and are said to aid skills including mathematics and science.

Children who spend hours each day on Xbox and PlayStation games consoles are improving their education, scientists said yesterday.

    I know this as fact. When I was 12, I was much more mature than my peers, and had a much wider view on things. By age 15, I had a full-fledged beard. And by the time I was 17, my peers considered me their leader, and created a throne for me to sit on. To this day, many people consider me god, and the number is increasing.

    And I have video games to thank.
