Although it is kind of old news, some people like myself have just recently found out about NetBattles. If all you want to do is fight Pokemon battles this is the perfect download for you, it's free and legal and every pokemon is level 100!

NetBattle Supremacy is the latest version of NetBattle, with Diamond and Pearl pokemon included. This version of NetBattle is not updated or maintained by us. For support and bug reports, please visit the Official NetBattle Supremacy Website.

    Of course, anyone who's done their research would know that Level 50 battles are a lot more balanced in stats with every Pokemon, making things very fair.
