Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time competition, See your weapon in the game!

Ratchet and Clank Future: A Crack in Time will like its predecessor rely heavily on its fanbase to make sure the game is what the people want. Similar to how in Tools of Destruction gamers got to choose what animal the transmorpher would turn enemies into, Insomniac have this time around started a Ratchet and Clank weapon contest, charging you with designing a weapon for the upcoming game. The winner naturally gets their weapon put in the game, as well as win a trip to San Diego for the international Comic-Con.

    I was actually creating a gun earlier. I restarted two times. I don't even think they look remotely like a R&C weapon;

      No it doesn't look like a R&C weapon. But it is an interesting study in forced perspective and how the eye can fool you. Planes not quite lining up where they should.

        That's part of the reason I stopped. Not because I couldn't fix it, but because I just gave up on the design. There was another design but I didn't save it.

          Though that could work, the fact it looks nothing like an R&C weapon would put you ahead of the millions of R&C clones that would get entered. You'd probably have more chance designing a weapon that would more fit in Resistance 2 than R&C cause no doubt that is what they would want, something very different to the current weapon set.

          Actually if you read the the whole rules, it says don't put so much detail in the weapon. (im guessing insomniacs art guys are going to do that) you pretty much need to design the basic concept, what it does, a paragraph explanation and what. If you read it that would be a fine entry.

          I want to enter this. just can't think of anything.

    I've entered a weapon I planned for a while; a two function weapon I will detail to you guys when the competition ends.
