Rock Band total sales surpasses 1 billions dollars

MTV multiplayer released a press release outlining all their sales in the past 15 months they have been operating. Check our page out for the story and my personal comments on it all

MTV games and EA partners have announced that the Rock Band franchise has officially brought in over 1 billion dollars in North America retails sales in its 15 month run. It’s also shocking to point out that over 40 million songs has been downloaded through their online store.

    I agree with your thoughts mau64, im also glad they aren't in a rush to do a Rock Band 3.. and honestly, they have no reason to with DLC coming out on the weekly.

    This is going to be interesting it's now a battle of who has the best money making formula. Blizzard with World of Warcraft which is almost printing money or Rock Band which also looks to be printing money, i'd like to see statistics on yearly sales of both franchises.
