really, tho, i can't understand the motives of either one of them. "the woman asked him to stop playing games on his cell phone as the train was so crowded".. wat? how is some guy playing with his phone on a crowded train bothering you?
also, i'm guessing there's more to this story than just 'well i asked him to stop playign it and he punched me wtf'. there always is. she did something to antagonize him. yet he's still a dick for punching an old lady. @__@
What a psycho, I dread to think what could have happened if he wasn't restrained.
and yeah, clearly he didn't do that just because of the cell game.
You tell him he's being a jerk and needs to stop jabbing you with his elbows. Since he can't seem to play being still and it's crowded and you can't get away, you tell him to stop playing the game altogether. The guy is a jerk and irritable (being on a crowded train can make people irritable), he feels you are a problem and goes all out on you.
He shoves you and says some words, "You think you can tell me what to do?" With a few expletives and in not so short a phrase. You call the guy a few words also. You end up with a broken jaw.
...Yeeah. I can definitely see this happening JUST over a game. People can be irritable jerks whether they play games or not.
You don't do that over a minor quarrel. Something else was going down, maybe he was pushed in his job and at home and he snapped, or she provoked it more than the story let on.
I'd say he may be unstable, but I kinda doubt an unstable person would go through school and be hired as a programmer.
TBH, I'm just astounded that the police were so incompetent that they let the guy hit her again whilst in custody.
