Capcom selling Okami for $20

Wii and PS2 owners can now grab Capcom's artful game Okami for just 20 bones via their online shop. Considering it's "one of the most beautiful games ever made", you don't have much of an excuse, now do ya?

    This puts Okami to shame, it's so beautiful it doesn't deserve to be sold at such a cheap price.
    However now it give people a chance to go out and buy it and see first hand how great it is.

      You nailed it on the head. This is a game that feels undervalued at $20 - but like other undersold instant classics (Beyond Good and Evil & Psychonauts) not enough gamers were willing to try it out and give it a chance despite the flowing reviews. Frustrating, but I am hoping (like when BG&E and Psychonauts reached the bargain bin) the game will find new life with a new audience.

        BG&E is selling well on GOG, anyway. Ive never tried it, but just purchased it the other day, can't wait to dive in soon.

      It was never sold at full price like most games. I think when Okami first came out on PS2, it was already $10 cheaper than the usual price.

      Okami is one of my favorite games of all time, it really deserves better -- wish people would just give it the time of day!

      I agree. It's a shame that Okami didn't sell well, must have been it's timing. Still, least this will get people more likely to buy it. They add anything new to the Wii edition? If so, I may pick it up. :S

    i never have and never will give a shit about that game.

    its old as hell, and it's a ps2 game. 20$ isn't a bargain.

      old as hell? ( ) someone wants to start flame warz. Ok, I'll be a tool and take the bait. Okami has innovative gameplay and a visual aesthetic that makes it far from dated. It is a glowing example when design and gameplay mesh together perfectly, and is an interesting case study in game development and marketing. There is a Wii version too. $20 is a bargain for the gameplay contained in Okami and then some...
