3 New 'Tales' Games: Tales of Vesperia [PS3], Tales of Versus [PSP], Tales of Graces [Wii]

Someone's busy...

  • Tales of Vesperia [360/PS3] is getting its own PS3 port, with new character -'loli pirate'- Patty Fruel. Young, stereotypical jRPG character? CHECK. Speaks like an old person? CHE...huh?

  • Tales of Versus [PSP] looks to be Namco's answer to Dissidia: Final Fantasy allowing 4 characters to battle it out at once.

  • Tales of Graces [Wii] allows players to take control of Aspel Rant, an 18-year-old who resides on the outskirts of a kingdom.

        Tell me about it, released in August of last year everywhere else, still waiting for it over here in the UK =|

        It can't take 7months to release a game over here. Namco really are being complete dickwads when it comes to games like this.

          Yeah I saw the same with Eternal Sonata. Amazing game, but amazingly crap timing... 3 months after the release of the US version, that was a VERY long wait... especially with soo many other GOOD releases at that time...

      i was laughing at the title 'tales of versus' hard because it's so stupid. then i seen what its actually supposed to be and it kinda makes sense. how about that.

      Aw, PS3 gets a new character?

      We better get DLC for the PS3 extras on the 360 vesion, Namco.

      Tales of Versus i don't give a crap, We already Tales of the world 2 and 3 for GBA in japan, and TotW RM 1 and 2 is for PSP.

      THE wii one I might be intrested in, but I still wonder what there doing with the "Tales of Blessia" and this other one that they recently copyrighted.

        The PS3 Extra's are all exclusive I'm afraid, it's what happens when they release it late. The same thing happened with Eternal Sonata.

      Now PS3 owners get to play the great jRPG known as Tales of Vesperia. New character too, lucky.

      I'm sure Bamco have their reasons for the European release dates. Must be a financial thing...hell ToV for the 360 was hard to find in my area, GameStop only got about five copies.

      IMO, Graces will probally use either the Eternia or Abyss engine for battles.

      Eternia: Left-Right only
      Abyss: Full 3D. Left-Right, but hold a certain button and you go into free run (and that's broken since it's like "Run to the enemy" then "Hit" then "Run away" then "run to the enemy" then "Hit" and such and It's Jsut Broken)

      But What i Really want is Hearts to be translated.

        Oh, Graces most certainly looks like it uses a 3D battle system (which isn't actually broken). It's just what they would add to the table is up in the air.

      That new TOV character better become DLC for the 360,or I'll be pissed! Unless they do some 360-exclusive DLC that makes Flynn fully playable......

      I'm certainly interested in Tales of Graces,too. I hope it has a normal Magic knight in it.

      I wonder what Tales of VS will be like? I hope it will include Lloyd,Cress,and either Senel or Chloe .
