This is the largest Playstation auction on Ebay ever. With about 1,500 Playstation games, that's including numerous editions of some games such as limited, special, greatest hits, promotional material and dev kits. Although this is not the complete Playstation library of games but this should keep you going until maybe death? Oh and ironically the shipping is actually free. Make sure you check out the image attached with this article for a preview of what the winner should be expecting.

Wuhoh, bad news for the folks at the PlayStation Museum, who explain on the site: "The PlayStation Museum is liquidating all of our retail and development hardware and software. Now is your chance to get over 1,500 games, a lot of hardware (including a 10 Million Model PSX and MIB edition) plus a few other surprises."

Here's the eBay auction in question, and let me be the first to say that the selection is _insane_ - though they do note: "Virtually all hardware listed on this site is in the auction and a lot of the software. Due to NDA, the gaming graveyard games are generally off limits (unless listed in the auction)... Unfortunately, this is not a promotion nor a joke."

That's a shame, it would have been interesting to see the price it reached.

That would be incredible, but the auction was cancelled. Who knows why the cancelled it, maybe it was from too many games.

I wonder how many Ebay auctions he had to win to amass that collection in the first place.

Even if the auction wouldn't have been cancelled, I would bet that the seller wouldn't make that much profit in the end. Impressive still though.

Yeah I was also thinking how they had managed to get a massive collection that big and thought "must have been ebay!".

Massive collection though, never seen a picture full of so many games before!

I think it said that it was put out BY the PlayStation company, not sure, I'll have to read it again...

I think he would have to pay an incredible fee for the shipping, he wouldn't make much of a profit, and Ebay likes to take an average of ten dollars. Props to that person for gathering such a massive collection.

Woah, what an incredible collection of games there, to think I had way too many PS games back then.

    That's a lot of games

I wonder what a person would actually do with all those xD

Personally I would rip them all to my computer and forever save them (in case they get scratched, I would have backups) And probably do what I do now and just play my old favorites in ePSXe.

Wow that's a huge collection of PS1 games and hardware. Such a shame the auction was cancelled. I wonder how much they would have got for all that stuff.
