Rumour: MGS 4 To Be Released On 360 After PS3 Release By 6-12 Months!

In the latest EGM Live, one of the EGM editors talks about Metal Gear Solid 4, it's features and at the same time says how MGS 4 will probably be released onto the 360 after the PS3 as little as 6-12 months.

Is this another exclusive being lost by Sony?

In the latest EGM LIVE, Shane Bettenhausen one of the EGM editors who last week was on the Kojima podcast talks more in-depth on MGS4. How it will probably be coming in (or slightly before) March to the PS3, and more or less confirms there is a deal in place that MGS4 will come to the 360. It will be announced after the PS3 version is out and odds are it may come out 6-months to a year after the PS3 version. So just maybe Xbox 360 owners may get a chance at Snake come next Christmas.

    All I can say if this is true, they should keep it a secret untill MGS4 for ps3 is already out. The ps3 needs as much sales and exlusives as possable. And again, if MGS4 comes to the 360, be prepared to buy a 10 disc set.

    EGM also said there would be a Kingdom Hearts for the Wii, and that was totally false. Hideo said himself there is no disc big enough for 360 that can hold MGS4. It's too big even for a 25GB Blu-Ray disc. It will be at least a 6-10 disc set if it ever came out for the 360.

    When EGM said that there will be Kingdom Hearts for Wii that was a April fools joke. April is not the current month. This is responding to Raziel.

    About 500 "trustful" sources stated that MGS4 will probably see a release on the 360, yet all of them have been shot down.

    We'll just see what happens.

    Even if this is just a rumour right now, I wouldn't be very surprised if it was released on the 360 soon after it hits the PS3. Sounds similar to what happened with Resident Evil 4, started off on the GC and ended up on the PS2.

    Hmm if it does come out for the 360, maybe it'll come with additional extras too.

      Its stated that its a ps3 exclusive, so why jump to multi? Sounds like a load of BS to me.

    That's hardly an argument these days.

    Remember, GTA IV, Devil May Cry 4, Assassin's Creed and Virtua Fighter 5 were all PS3 exclusives once. Yet we know how that turned out.
