Two Classic Characters Return For Resident Evil 5's Mercenaries Reunion
15 hours 9 mins ago
After a long drawn out silence to the fans Nintendo has decided not to publish Fatal Frame IV, the Japan confined Wii survival horror game which was released midway through last year for North America. Tecmo has shown disappointment at this move, but it appears the word is final. Sorry Gothic Girl.
Nintendo holds the publishing rights to ‘Fatal Frame Wii,’ which was developed by Tecmo LTD. and Grasshopper Manufacture and released in Japan on July 31, 2008. Nintendo of America has since then decided not to publish the title in North America – consequently, the title will not be released in this territory.

Fatal Frame II and III were awesome.
My second reaction was of course anger, BRING THE SHIT HERE WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU?!?!?!
And then when I thought that maybe PAL regions would get it, sites are reporting that Nintendo of Europe also won't be publishing it. And apparently have no plans of relinquishing the rights of the game to another publisher. I mean, what the shit? WHY?
Oh well. At least I can hope that Tecmo will be smart next time round and bring the next Fatal Frame game back to the Playstation and Xbox. At least Sony and Microsoft know how to treat their third-party titles properly. Still, it's a shame that Wii owners won't at least get to play one FF title.
I'm gonna go sit in the corner and sulk for a bit. >_>
Nintendo really are idiotic bastards when it comes down to good games.
