Apparently something is going on with the new update for the X360.
It seems when you update your Xbox360 to the spring update, and then test the halo 3 beta, the system starts to freeze and unfreeze.
Then at some point the games load time slows and takes awhile to load it. And there are other problems as well such as parts of the online store became inaccessible.

I dont know what this means, but seems like the problems never end for MS. Man what are they going to do.

The Xbox 360 Forums have been buzzing with complaints that after upgrading with the Spring Update and the Halo 3 beta testing, strange things have been happening to their consoles. Freezing at the friend list, issues with the MarketPlace and getting weeded out of Xbox Live are among the major concerns.

Users report that whenever you check your friend list and other related stuff, their consoles seem to have nasty freezes. Some parts of the online store became inaccessible, and running games from discs takes quite some time to load. The HD also was suspect to some slowdown.

"Accessing the HD is slow to respond sometimes too. It looks like the system actually freezes then unfreezes," says ROCKYWWF, an Xbox 360 user.

"I have cleared the cache on my HD, tested my internet connection with the 360 and everything passed. Pulled the HD off and ran the 360 and still the same problems," he adds.

So far Microsoft has not yet engaged this buzz in the Xbox 360 community. Those who are experiencing similar troubles are encouraged to join the discussion and be heard. Thanks to Dave O. for the heads-up!

The only problem I've encountered so far is my friends list is freezing for about 30 seconds. Not really a big problem just kind of annoying.

I cant really say anything on this cause i dont actually have one. But I did hear from friends there thing was acting weird. Perhaps this is the cause. Which brings me to another point, MS seems they have more problems occurring than the other 2 systems. And ppl really think the xbox is doing well. Idk, i would rather have a system that doesnt have problems and has shorten amount of games, than one that has problems and has games.
