People have been asking for it for awhile now and Square Enix have answered. Let's just hope it eventually makes its way to the NA and PAL PlayStation Stores.

So what exactly is the difference between FFVII international and normal FVII?

      Cruxis Mana Apr 10, 09
International is the definitive version of FFVII.

It has extra scenes and features.

Nice, but doubt this is any indication of it releasing outside of Japan.

Don't see why, they'd make millions

I'm almost sure it was just the NA version rereleased in Japan under the name "FF7 International".

and it had a couple of materia tweaks and one extra scene from what I remember.

International versions are usually the PAL (final) versions with a few minor extras.
In this case, FFVII International had a few extra cutscenes (which I think America and Europe got too), and an extra disc which included a gallery, concept art, maps, trivia, and stuff like that.

FFVII International is the North American version with Japanese text and a bonus disc.

If PAL regions do get it, it will probably be like Suikoden. We STILL don't have that freaking game.Instead we constantly get tons of crap.Flower was the last thing I bought that I actually enjoyed.

I'd care if it were IX. But then again, I'm already playing it on my PSP.

I'm also playing FF7 on my PSP right now, But I'm having a hard time getting into it. I recently played through Chrono Cross for the first time and loved it, but with this game I don't know if I'm going to try finishing it.

Different game entirely. Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core are different games.

protip: You can tell by the crisis core part.

I wasn't talking about Crisis Core.
I've never played Crisis Core before, it just wouldn't make sense to me because I've haven't played through the original game.

I'm always surprised by the number of people that don't know that you can run almost all the original PSX games on the PSP and play them on the go (using custom firmware).

Edit: I now realize Musikon was probably saying he's playing FF IX on his PSP.

Mine was relevant to the article, regardless if it applied to the comment before.

Your comment did jack shit than to point out I made a mistake.

The problem is that, everything since LiveWire told me what he meant, is useless including my posts.

In any case I'm not arguing anymore.

Huh, so I'm not sure on this.

With the "international" version... Will it be Aries or Arieth?

      Shuyu Apr 11, 09
It is in Japanese, so English translations are irrelevant.

        It's inevitably coming here though.

Inevitably? Still waiting for the many great games the JP store has that the rest of us don't.

In any event, Square Enix have maintained Aerith as the official English spelling.

They need to release this on the NA/EU stores, along with Xenogears and some of their other survivable titles (Legend of Mana, Bushido Blade 2, etc).
