Resumeplay brings you the Saboteur

For a long time the Saboteur had gone off the radar, slipping out of sight and going undetected as it moved through production. Now, it's back. Along with a score of new details and information. I'd suspect a new trailer to follow, coming soon in 2009 ladie's & gentlemen; it's the Saboteur.

We, the player, take control of ‘Street-Tough Irish Racing Mechanic’ Sean Devlin whom has a major bone to pick with one of the residing Nazi officers in Paris. Now take it from me, having an Irishman out for your blood is a VERY BAD THING. The fact that Sean Devlin then goes about imploding bridges, setting a battalion of tanks alight, assassinating officers and generally kicking a** is a testament to that.

    I've been talking about this game forever. It's pretty much one of my most anticipated games for '09 believe it or not. I think it looks awesome and I loved one of the trailers that came out about a year ago (linked in the article). Glad to see it's getting some attention again.

    To be honest, I have heard of the game, but never actually taken the time to look into it with so many new games launching/ be announced.

    Imagine a more in depth Assasin's Creed, set in paris with an Irish protagonist and assasinating Nazis.

    Throw in a wicked bunch of game features like the 'Will to Fight' (Covered in later preview) and it is looking aces.
