PS3 Being Outsold By Xbox 360 Elite

According to the latest sales figures from www.amazon.com , not only is the PS3 being outsold by the Wii and the xbox 360 premium, the xbox 360 elite console is also outselling Sony's next-generation effort.

Also worth noting is that all three Halo 3 SKU's are also outranking the PS3 on these sales charts.

      Hey what do you mean? I was merely stating that alot of ppl know that the elite isnt exactly elite. There was an article about this a few weeks ago man. Geez no fanboyism here.

        If the Elite really had all the things(HD DVD drive installed) that you think would really make it "Elite," it would cost even more than a 60GB PS3, and nobody would buy that--Sony knows that all too well.

          Exactly. Microsoft wants tp give people the option on whether or not people want to spend the extra $200 on a HD-DVD drive. Personally, I don't want or need one, so what's the point in me paying the extra cash for it ?

          Dont you mean MS, cause i dont think Sony gives a crap about the xbox elite. Its not even good. If i had to buy a xbox it would be the original X360, the elite sucks. Big deal if its leading by a few It just shows you that sony cares more about quality, not quantity. The ps3 doesnt have alot of problems like xbox has.

    Well those who like the 360 will get an Elite. Me I still think the original is probably the best way to go.

    Woah this isn't too good for Sony. I mean the elite not being as elite as it seems yet still having more sales than the PS3.. I bet a load of people who already had premium still went and bought the elite too, just like some did with the DS Lite even though they had a normal DS already.

      Yeah, I think it's a bit more about brand loyalty than just console vs. console. People who are already firmly invested in the product (already having a library of 360 games and accessories) are more willing to buy the top end stuff than they would be to buy something they'd have to purchase so much other stuff to be able to enjoy it. Which is also another boost because they'll most likely sell their old system giving them more money to buy games and then someones going to buy the used system.
