Call of Duty Black Ops Voted ‘Best Game Ending’ Of All Time
12 hours 19 mins ago
Ever wanted to talk over the internet without having to resort to buying a game? How about making actual phone calls to anywhere in the world and traditional IM functionality to boot? TechRadar asks a Skype developer about the possibility of Skype on the DSi and doesn't get completely shut down!
Skype is a free download on PCs, Macs, and is used on several devices. It costs no money to make direct peer-to-peer voice chat and traditional IM conversations (Skype protocol only, no MSN, or AIM but who cares?). The only charge debited to you is making actual phone calls to phones around the world.
Most interestingly (and pertinently) the Skype rep added: "Whilst we can't comment on any future plans to bring Skype to Nintendo's DSi, it would technically be possible."

I've never so much as opened skype on my PSP.
I'm definitely all for networking and everything. However, with skype only working with an internet connection, it's a bit too limited for handheld devices. Especially with cell phones being better for the job.
The only good thing Skype is for, is making free calls to your Skype friends overseas. Other than that . . . Cell Phones are indeed better, and still cost effective.
