There are a few PS1 classics on PSn, but Sony had a huge collection of great games on the PS1. Sony is finally bringing some of those games to the Network. Some of these games coming are Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil: Director’s Cut and Final Fantasy VII

We’ve all had the same thought. With the enourmous library of PlayStation One titles at Sony’s disposal, why haven’t more PSOne Classics made their way to the PS Store?

Well soon enough, you won’t have to ask that question again, as the word is that Sony will be bringing a big chunk of PSN classics to the North American PS Store.

Good. Glas they're bringing them to the network finally. God knows they've deserved it. Although I still have them as PS1 discs () I'm glad others can get their hands on these timeless classics (boy do I sound like a salesman...).

Source? The site doesn't have one.

So I'll keep my hopes down until this is confirmed elsewhere.

Resident Evil, MGS, and FF were the 3 franchises I thought of most regarding the PS1, so it is good to see them arrive on the store. I would like to continue seeing the content coming!

VIII bothered me because they wouldn't give you experience for beating bosses...

I remember, that really pissed me off.

I would be excited if it wasn't the fact that we either get games quite a while after NA if we even get them at all.

Hopefully. Right now if you look on Amazon you will find that FFVII for the PS1 is selling for over a hundred dollars. The first time I saw this was right after I bought new greatest hits edition of the game at a Gamestop 2 years ago. I had paid $20. Sellers like that need to go away.

Also, according to a blog that includes screenshots of the download page, it is already available in Japan. Retailing for $15(that's US dollars).

Before SF4 was released they made SSF2THD or w/e it was. If anything this will make the rumours pick up speed.

I dislike turn-based RPG with great intensity, I already have Director's Cut (Don't know how it still works), I guess there's only one left for me, oh joy.
