It'll be timed.
Yoda = 360
Vader = PS3
few months down the line they were available on both consoles.
If you genuinely don't know though, it's a stealthy-action game.
just watch, the 360 version will get somebody badass like Croc or Bain!!
As for gameplay Joker's going to most likely have a metric *bleep*ton of gadgets and fun stuff to use. What will Bane do? In a situation like what happens in the challenge rooms he only has brute strength; yeah he's a very intelligent guy and knows about fighting strategies and the like but in one of the challenge rooms that means jack shit, which means his gameplay will be mind-numbingly monotonous.
And yes, Joker is overrated. That doesn't change the fact that as a character he is smarter then Bane, so much so that he would beat him. In fact, without Joker that drugged up SoaB would still be locked up in Arkham. Funny that, eh?
Mr. Freeze, please!
i just get sick of Sony bots thinking they are so much better than 360 players all the time. there is definitely a superiority complex with the majority of them.
If this article was entitled 'Joker, exclusive on 360' and nothing was announced for PS3, wouldn't Micrsoft fanboys be running around saying 'Suck on it, bitches' and all that bullcrap as well? If this article was entitled 'Batman: Arkham Asylum coming to the Wii with extra content' would Nintendo dick-weeds not do the same?
At the end of the day fanboys are fanboys and will flaunt meaningless shit 'til the end of eternity; it happened with MGS4, LBP, KZ2 and it happened with the exclusive DLC for GTA4, Fallout 3 and I have no doubt it will happen with God of War 3 and Halo 4.
And yeah, when you guys get an announcement for Bane or someone (personally I'm thinking Harley Quinn, since that way the developers won't have to work on making even more extra challenge maps for free and the only difference between the DLC is who people will use, then they can perhaps focus on making others to be paid for) the fanboys will feel a kick in the nuts and you can feel free to rub it in their self-righteous faces... my points are, there's no point letting them get to you... and more importantly never use them as an excuse to insult my Mistah J
even when it was announced last year that FF13 was coming to 360 as well, i only laughed for a few minutes, and only at one of my friends who owns a PS3. but we make fun of each other a lot so its all good.
yeah fanboys can be complete pains most all the time, but it seems like Sony fans like to rub things in a lot more than others.
I have a PS3 and not a 360, because I prefer the the PS3. But when shit like this happens, I don't feel the need to rub it in ANYONE's face, I just announce my happiness about it. In fact, this could have been a multiplatform announcement and I still would have been ecstatic at free Joker challenge maps. You see there's a difference between fans and fanboys/girls, and that difference is fans of a console prefer it for genuine reasons and understand why the other consoles are so popular, having some level of intelligence and an ability to discuss things about them; fanboys of consoles prefer it because of stupid generic reasons and are complete idiots who, if you question them, will turn into whiny little bitches and talk the biggest load of bull you've ever heard.
The only reason you think Sony fanboys are worse is because you don't have to deal with Microsoft fanboys, because you yourself are a 360 owner so you don't have Rtarded, Halo-bumming dickweeds talking about why the 360 is so much better all the time, you only hear the Sony nob jocks when they talk shit. It's like when white people think racism isn't a big problem anymore, because they mostly don't have to deal with it.
As a matter of fact to say one set of fanboys is worse then another, is a pretty *bleep*ing fanboy-like statement to make in itself.
no its not. like you said, i dont notice 360 fanboyism cause i own the system. it seems PS3 fans are more fanboyish cause i dont own a PS3. its not that i dont like other systems. i own a PSP and DS and i play Wii occasionally. i wouldnt mind having a PS3 once i can justify slapping down a couple hundred for one. once there are more games i want, such as GOW3.
Fanboys are dipshits, so why care?
Bane would have his way with almost anyone in the Batman universe. Joker is NOT smarter than Bane. Few characters in that world are. Joker has better people skills so he might be able to get a gang on his side that could subdue Bane, but one-on-one, its no match.
However, I think in this game, they might dumb-down Bane quite a bit. That would suck.
I did, however, take it into account when I thought about this a long time ago during my comic book nerd phase; just because I didn't vocalize every point in that post doesn't mean I didn't think about them. You see, saying Bane is better then Joker without Joker having people to back him up who he cleverly tricked into doing most of his dirty work is like saying Batman would somewhat easily beat the crap out of Bane were he not to have Poison; it's probably true, yeah, but it still doesn't change the fact that they do have them so they should be taken into account. Something else to remember is that more often then not Joker isn't trying to kill Batman, most of the time he's trying to mentally break him and a few times he has succeeded... momentarily... if Joker did want to truly kill the Batman, no games, no mind-tricks, no fun-time cliches, I believe he would be able to do it a lot easier then people think.
But before we have a complete nerd-off, let us do a first for Gamegrep and agree to disagree
And I'm hoping they don't. They're sticking closer to the comics so they shouldn't anyway... that said, maybe they'll have him be the intelligent normal Bane to begin with and then for the sake of some levels/boss fights or fan service or something he'll get juiced up and turn into the monster the majority of people know.
As for Bane; I envision an encounter where you are being almost "tracked" by Bane throughout an area of Arkham. Like, Bane will bust through a wall and you'll fight him for a bit, then he'll vanish. Bane will taunt you here and there before appearing again. Batman will also have to avoid little traps set by Bane before the final encounter takes place.
That would be epic and would due Bane justice. I just can't see them doing that. I think it'll just be an all-out brawl which would let me down a bit.
The *bleep*
Here's the room key to the room I got for the both of you. Enjoy. Remember to clean up afterwards.
That said though, point taken
