Dead Rising 2 WILL Have Multiplayer

The confusion at GDC09 left many of us wondering whether Dead Rising 2 will have multiplayer or not. Well Capcom have now confirmed that, yes, the game will have multiplayer.

"Single-player alone is not going to cut it. So rest assured we are going to put multiplayer in the game, but I can't go into specifics about what type of multiplayer as that directly relates to some of the game systems that we don't want to talk about at this event. It will be online multiplayer, so keep that in mind."

    I think I'm in love...

    Four player co-op fending of hordes of zombies would be Left 4 Dead freakin awesome

    Getting multiplayer is a start, but getting co-op would make the game so much better imo.

      I've got to agree. That's one thing I was disappointed with in the first Dead Rising, was that there was no co-op. Seemed like the perfect game for some co-op play.

    I'm all for it, as long as the online doesn't lag up my zombie killing sprees. And I don't really see Competitive multiplayer being any comfortable unless they change the the entire gameplay controls.
