The game Red Steel 2, it is announced today by Ubisoft, and will be available in 2009 on Nintendo Wii.The game will make use of Wii MotionPlus. "A slash and shoot like never before" Said Ubisoft on the official site, sign up for the latest updates.

As you remembered with the original Red Steel made by Ubisoft, it was the only brand to be exclusively created for the immensely popular Nintendo Wii gaming console.
The sequel, Red Steel 2, will bring more of the same guns and swords action to the Wii, using the motion sensitive Wiimote's MotionPlus technology for ultimate fighting moves.
Set in a high-tech, futuristic desert environment Red Steel 2 will be available in stores for Winter 2009.
There are no further details on the gameplay in Red Steel 2 so we don't know if the main character Scott Monroe and his fiancée Miyu Sato will appear.
