Well, this is sad news for any of you Batman fans out there like me, who had already pre-ordered Arkham Asylum and were eagerly awaiting its release in June, as the game has now been delayed and will come out sometime between the end of summer and Sept. 22.

Once expected in June, Rocksteady's stealth-action PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 game will now hit "at the end of summer," implying a release no later than September 22.

"This additional time will allow us to ensure Batman: Arkham Asylum is of the highest quality for gamers," Warner and Eidos explained in their statement.

No! I was fine with it change from the 9th of June to the 23rd, but it being a near two months? Damn, what a long wait. Ah well, my copy has been reserved and paid off for.

    I'm alright with this news.

I'm sure Rocksteady and Co just want to make sure any and all bugs are out of the game before it is released. I dont blame them. This game is a big title for the team there. Plus, this just gives them more time to hype the game and release more footage, which builds up even more anticipation.
