This morning, PC fans who downloaded the new Fallout 3: Broken Steel DLC were greeted with a nice error message resulting in a improper installation and game freezing.

Also, the Xbox 360 version is experiencing a bug whereby gamers cannot activate Project Purity, not to mention achievement problems.

Currently Bethesda are working on the issues but as time goes by, fans become more frustrated.

PC fans are not too happy with the new Fallout 3: Broken Steel DLC because they seem to be having installation problems.

    quote Boomtown
Bethesda tells us that the issue with the PC version is "a Games for Windows Live DRM Install error. Microsoft is working on fixing it, and we’ll let everyone know once we’ve verified it."
    Big *bleep*ing fail.
This is why requisite services are bad, bad, bad.

Updated the article -- 360 owners are having trouble too.

Fallout 3 has been broken from the get go. It's only living up to it's reputation. LOL

Unfortunately I agree, they either don't test or don't test enough. Though it is strange how none of their other DLC expecially Oblivion DLC hasn't had problems yet the last two loads have

Too much juggling other projects and not enough time spent on DLC maybe?

It wasn't just the DLC. There was that infamous vampire glitch which occurred a 100% of the time. But I don't need to tell you about that ShadowJ.

For the PS3 version? That question in itself answers as to why the glitch occured

Also that is a "glitch" last I checked we were on about actual broken DLC, not glitches

I wondered why it wasn't up on the GFWL marketplace when I got home from classes. I was really looking forward to playing this today too. Blah.

    *sigh* Oh you.

Well it works fine for me on my 360, had nothing go awry, the level cap was updated and broken steels working fine.
