Word is in: Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is coming to the PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE Arcade this June 29. Clear your schedules, cancel surgeries, etcetera!

Are you excited for Marvel vs. Capcom 2 yet? We know we are. We can barely contain our excitement from overcoming our brain and forcing us to dress up like a cross between Mega Man and the Incredible Hulk. Which is why we’re so pleased to finally have a release date to focus our attention on: June 29th.

Which is in fact a Monday. Whether Capcom will make an exception to the usual Thursday Playstation Store update, we’re not sure, but either way, we know we can expect the game to come in and around the week of June 29th.

Then our holy-trinity of Gambit, Jill Valentine and Ken will finally be a reality. Oh Capcom. *swoons*.

    That's real cool to know about the date of the game. They said that it will be updated... The picture of the game is just PlayStation 2 graphics in the link provided. It was also said that this downloadable feature is gonna be like the SEGA Dreamcast version. The sprites should be done like how UDON Entertainment did their sprites for Super Street Fighter II HD Remix... Which is a comic book company that does Capcom type comic books and was heavely involved of the spriting artwork and everything...
