Perfect Dark coming to Xbox Live Arcade!

Before it was just a rumor, but Rare has just recently confirmed that Perfect Dark WILL be coming to the Xbox Live Arcade. Rare also tells their fans to expect a huge announcement coming from them in June, which I'm guessing will be at E3. What to expect? Goldeneye 007 with online multiplayer on the XBLA, I hope.

    I honestly just came in my pants.

    Perfect Dark is still the best FPS ever made. And if they can get online multiplayer in there it would better than Gears and Halo combined.

    Perfect Dark is a kickass FPS, no doubt. Definitely picking this up on XBLA.

    Perfect Dark remake on the way?
    Prehaps its on the cards at Microsofts E3 presentation.

    Oh and for the record, the remake wont even begin to touch the perfection of the original. But it would be good to see.

      Ok, now you're just putting it on a pedestal. How does a remake, of the same game, not be in the same league as the original? I don't quite understand that. A remake is basically the same concept, gameplay, story, characters, setting, everything, but with a more up-to-date style for today. It's not as though this were a reboot. Now I know there have been some terrible ports, but this is in the company's hands.

        Upto opinion I guess. Things can get lost in translation, whether its been redone by the same company or not.
        Then again, they could pull a Resident Evil Remake, and make it better than ever.

    I'm actually with iLLmatic on this one.

    Perfect Dark IS perhaps the greatest FPS ever made but, Goldeneye had some epic moments.

    Anyone remember paintball mode? Most fun I've ever had with a shooter.

    Let's hope that while this is awesome news, it's also announced that Goldeneye will be heading to XBLA as well.

    I don't get it, I swear I read that quite a while ago that Goldeneye got denied to be remade on XBLA...

      Yeah, but the same could be said about Perfect Dark. It was some dispute about the games being on a Nintendo platform, and should be remade for a Nintendo-console. But looks like they are passed the bickering now and hopefully, we get Goldeneye.
