Mekensleep, the creator of Soul Bubbles has just struck a deal to bring the game out in Japan. With this in mind, Cubed3.com's Adam Riley spoke with Creative Director Olivier Lejade about what changes have been made for the Japanese market and uncovered that the company is considering a DSiWare version in the future.
We're very much thinking about it (Soul Bubbles on DSiWare). You're absolutely right that if we were to adapt Soul Bubbles for DSiWare we would need to break it down. So the question becomes, can we revisit Soul Bubbles as a series of interesting smaller experiences while controlling the development costs so that it stays financially sound. We don't have the answer yet but we're trying to work that equation out...
