Kojima Productions Tease Unnannounced Game to be Revealed May 18th

Just what have Kojima Productions been up to since Metal Gear Solid 4? Well, we'll find out on May 18th. Who knows what E3 may bring afterwards...

1. Figures in the distance

Two figures can be seen in the distance on the left-hand page. Likely to be people, but are they adults? Kids? Simply part of the background, or maybe established characters?

2. A house

On the right-hand page is a shape that looks a lot like a house. Maybe the people on the other page are a family, and this is their home?

3. Those crazy clouds

This could be any number of things. Our leading theory is that the clouds make up the shape of an airplane -- perhaps a bomber, like the one you see branded with the Kojima Productions logo when you boot up Metal Gear Solid 3. Another take was that the gray clouds combined with the lower, whiter ones could be an alligator head. Another reference to MGS3?

    Oh, I hope it's a new Boktai/Lunar Knights. OR maybe a Boktai 1 Remake.


    It just hints a bit in it (Clouds blocking the Sun or Moon, Two figures, boktai one had no towns)and IT's REALLY raised my hopes.

      This would suggest that Boktai would be coming to a console, which i really can't see happening.

      It's probably yet ANOTHER Silent Hill.

    Maybe it's Metal Gear Solid 5, featuring The Boss as the main character during World War II, and the picture is from just outside a Nazi death camp. The smoke in the sky would be burning bodies from the crematory.

    Just wait, the MGS4 on 360 rumours are gonna flare up again...

    Anyway, looks intriguing. KojiPro always make quality games. Hopefully a PS3 exclusive.

      Lol, my friend just recently tried to tell me MGS4 was going to come to the 360 and I said it would never happen. He tried to then say that the 360 can pull it if they watered it down... I hope it's something MGS4, as none of Kojima's other games have ever appealed to me.

    Speaking of the clouds, I definitely see Solid Snake in there, not some Mario thing (forgive me if it's a different character).

      His moustache isn't long enough, and he has a slight double chin.

      I think we're reading too much into this- while it certainly could be MGS5, its a long shot.

      I think if that is Snake it's meant to be a representation of his death, along with MGS's, making way for something new (maybe a new Metal Gear with its own canon?).

          I'd assume that would be pretty awesome. With no sound in space, snake would have a ball.
