Electronic Theatre reveals a bunch of new details for Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction, expected to reapper after some time in development hell at this year's E3.

Of the three bullet-holes featured on the front page of the new website (see image), two remain signposted as “restricted”, one til 20th May, the other til 28th May. Following the only route left available to us, we found a video beginning to play. Narrated by what most would immediately believe is Sam Fisher himself, the video pans around the globe before zooming-in on a small island, believed to be a fictional addition to the Mediterranean Sea, south of Sicily.

Indeed it is, has been stated that it's not possible on the PS3.

Last i heard it was because the PS3 could not handle AI as well as the 360.

We all know thats bullshit. Just putting it out there that it's marketing spin to take attention off the fact UbiSoft sold out to the mighty dollar with this game.

Doesn't really matter if its bullshit and that they've sold out to the mighty dollar.

Just means that Microsoft are betting at getting exclusives than Sony, caus they know how to do it.

Sony doesn't believe in paying for exclusivity and its just idiocy tbh, its why so many PS3 owners won't be seeing this game.

Holy crap, this is going to be awesome. I haven't heard anything new from Conviction in so damn long but a simple teaser video like that gets me all giddy

Another solid title. E3 cannot come sooner, and I like the new fisher look. Exciting to see how this one plays, after a (imo) disappointing Double Agent title.

Well so much for the new location thing. The second video on the site leads to Washington DC I presume which gives us nothing new in terms of setting.
