Electronic Theatre reports on a handful of new details for the forthcoming Guitar Hero 5, including the ability to chop-and-change instruments and some multiplayer details.

Guitar Hero 5 is the latest installment of the world’s most popular Rhythm-Action videogame. Please, Activision, I want to be able to play Band Quickplay online without needing a full band! Why can't just me and a friend play together? I'd like to see that addressed, though I don't really see this happening. This, on the other hand, is an awesome feature. Now nobody has to get stuck playing bass!

I feel your pain man, i hate having to sit there waiting for players to join in.

Anyway, at least all the DLC from GHWT, will work on it, thats a plus, now they should release a key to bring all the tracks from GHWT on the GH5, like Rock Band.
