Gamecock Committed to The Ward

TwilightPrince | June 01, 2007 | News | DS
It was announced today that developer Renegade Kid will partner with Gamecock to release it's first game, Dementium: The Ward, for the Nintendo DS. This game will supposedly push the DS to it's limits and is being aimed at mature gamers.
Renegade Kid is looking to move above and beyond what most games are attempting on the DS, and with Gamecock we've found a publisher who is supportive, developer friendly, and willing to give us the freedom to create the game we want," said Jools Watsham, Owner and Creative Director of Renegade Kid. "Dementium showcases what a powerful piece of hardware the DS is, while drawing in a mature crowd that's looking for a title they can really sink their teeth into."

"In Dementium, players awake in a seemingly abandoned insane asylum. Soon they encounter grotesque surgical experiments gone awry wandering the halls and other mysterious inhabitants. Players must solve puzzles and escape the hospital with their lives. Renegade Kid promises gory visuals will be the icing on the cake for older gamers.

sounds like a really interesting game, but the graphics look a little grainy. Are they like that in game or is it just because the image is on the computer. (i hope you get what i mean)

Remember, the game is still in development. The graphics will most likely improve over time.

        Heh. Enough about the name.

Gamecock is just publishing the game. Renegade Kid (a newly formed development studio) is actually developing it.

The company has a nice name, haha. But yeah besides the name of the company the game certainly looks interesting. As for the graphics I'm sure they'll work on them.
