Electronic Theatre reports on the confirmation that the next Tomb Raider film will feature a younger Lara Croft, and reports that deny either Angelina Jolie or Megan Fox being attached to the role.

Producer of the latest motion-picture set to be based on Eidos’ Tomb Raider franchise, Tomb Raider 3, Dan Lin has ruled out the possibility of Angelina Jolie reprising her role as Lara Croft.

      QFT

However, it IS understandable. Since it is an origin thing, she'd have to be fresh faced young woman, as in, just out of her teens or something.

Angie has just too much sex appeal to pull that off, I think.

She was born for the role. Now they're bringing in pedo-Lara with this prequel nonsense.

As I said/implied. If it wasn't a prequel, I'd say "Go for Angie or don't do it at all" >_>

Who knows, maybe this new girl won't suck?

Unlike most people here I don't watch films just for the hot actors, if this new girl is a good actor and fits the part then I'm fine with it.
