A rather skint article by way of images and actual information, but it does contain one exciting snippet of information; you can use car trunks in GTA IV!
"Press LB to open trunk." That's what a pop-up command told Official Xbox Magazine as a Rockstar representative approached a vehicle from the rear while demoing the game.
It sounds like a great addition to the game, considering how useful car trunks have proven to be in the world of organized (and disorganized) crime. Bodies, drugs, weapons, bombs, etc. all fit quite nicely.
I can see the ad campaign now:
"GTA IV - What junk is in YOUR trunk?"

This game will be the bomb.
well even though this is really really really cool..i cant help but wonder what type of idiots are gonna look way too into this and will cause more problems for rockstar/take two and the gta franchies then what they already have from moron parents who think the M stands for "motor vehicles"
Little things like this make me want the game even more.
Sure they're almost useful in real life, but we never need to transport dead bodies or guns or even clothes in a GTA, so this seems just like pointless fluff. Plus a whole button dedicated to it?
It's about time this good but small feature made it into the game.
But yeah, exactly WHAT will the trunks be used for? How would you get bodies in them, and out of them? Can you throw people over your shoulder or something? Perhaps it will just be for weapons storage...
That's pretty catchy. I like that.
Being able to open the trunk is a nice little feature to see included in GTA IV. Since this feature has been added I believe we'll have some missions where we'll have to hide things in our trunks. Hmm.
In GTA3 you actually have to transport a car carrying a dead body in the trunk, you can see if the lid of the trunk is knocked off.
They can use it as some sort of weapon storage as well, seeing as the past GTA's had you replacing guns to your inventory instead of adding them (ex. 9mm handgun replaced by revolver). Maybe this could change the whole thing?
