Videogame peripherals specialist Hori offers up its clip-on "Hori Compact TFT Monitor EX" (breathe) for those truly hardcore Xbox 360 gamers wishing to trump DS and PSP owners by playing next-gen games on the bus. Just remember to bring a portable generator.
Yep, while rumours of Microsoft dipping its large, corporate toe in the murky waters of portable gaming have been circulating for some time now, Horis 12.1-inch monitor already has you covered. The EX apparently connects to your 360 via analogue RGB, and even outputs in lovely 720p. It comes with built-in speakers as well, positioned just below the screen itself.

Can someone please explain to me how exactly that is "portable" ? It's still fairly large to carry around and you need to plug it into a outlet. Sounds to me like it's an easy way to play your Xbox 360 at home if your family takes all the T.V.'s.
A portable screen that doesn't run on batteries don't make it a portable console.
