Electronic Theatre reports on the announcement that the Half-Life mod, Natural Selection 2, will launch through Valve's Steam service later this year.

Natural Selection 2 is a standalone online First-Person Shooter that pits aliens against humans in a strategic and action-packed struggle for survival, and will be launching through Valve’s Steam service later this year. Two teams of up to sixteen players face-off with unique abilities in dynamic, evolving environments that change as you play.
