Rockband gets Iron Maiden track pack

An Iron Maiden track pack will be coming to Rock Band on June 9th. I don't know about the rest of you but i seriously cannot wait for this track pack as it's been a long time coming.

This will be, in my opinion, the best track pack yet!

The best part is that, finally, you can replace the "Run to the Hills" cover (from the first Rock Band) and the downloadable "Number of the Beast" cover with the originals.

    Can someone tell me how they suddenly pulled these masters out of their arse just now?

    What happened to the drum/vox same track... thing.

      I have no idea and i really couldn't care how they managed to get these, all i want is to download them NOW!

      I do know that the live tracks are from their live album "Flight 666"

    Gee, wonder where the "GH is getting an Iron Maiden album DLC" rumor is now!!

    But seriously, I nearly flipped when I found this in the Zine this week. Awesome choice of songs, awesome band, what more is there to say? I haven't heard the stuff of Flight 666 but I'll take everyone's word for it - they are awesome.

    Nice. Guitar Hero is a pretty good game. But Rock Band is better since you can play with drums. Am I right? But still, I love playing this type of games. Thinking that I'm a rockstar lmao.

    Live tracks are killer for vocalists familiar with the song. Bruce sings "Hallowed Be Thy Name" so different in Flight 666 than in the Number of the Beast version.

    Still, pretty damn pleased with this twelve pack. Don't know where they pulled these master tracks from, but hell, I'm not complaining... excluding that first complaint.

    Hurray! No shitty NotB cover!

    Love that self-titled is a live version. Kind of has to be anyway, due to the way the studio versions were made; not complaining though

    Also Fear of the Dark is probably the best Maiden song, so I couldn't help but grin wider than a Chesire Cat when I saw that.

    Only complaint: Trooper. Yeah, good song and all, but this is its 3rd (confirmed) appearance.

      So you'd prefer it not be included just because its been in GH twice?

      Its just too bad they couldn't have just done the title tracks from all the albums up to Fear of the Dark and thrown in some extras as well. SSoaSS would have been kick ass to play.
