Activision Blizzard held a pre-E3 2009 conference call and revealed the tentative release date for StarCraft II as well as announced new James Bond, Spider-Man, Transformers, Tony Hawk and Shrek games for release in 2010.

Finally, [Blizzard president Mike] Morhaime said that the highly anticipated StarCraft II is on schedule to be released by the end of the year. But if the game is not ready, it will be delayed as Blizzard doesn't release anything before they feel it's done. A beta test is scheduled for this Summer.
