It's been confirmed folks... Metal Gear Solid: Rising the next of the Metal Gear Solid franchise will be on the XBOX360, whether or not it's exclusive or not is yet to be seen. All that is known is that it doesn't star Solid Snake in the role... but Raiden.

Didn't top the FFXIII announcement last year though.
I do think the conference did tend to drag on the Natal note though. Then again, prehaps it deserves such a time period on the stage. What they had to say was quite appealing.
Everything else was solid but executed quite poorly. Nothing displayed really was interesting, but the thing that guts me was that all of those games are kickass. I really wanted to see more montages and in-game experiences. Probably asking too much. Should just be thankful that they didnt go into the handheld market. They stay out of that, and they have my money.

ANOTHER NOTE: Did anyone hear any mention whatsoever of Mass Effect 2? Almost like they didn't wanna broadcast it because maybe the PS3 gets a taste of the fantastic piece of gaming pie?

I'm not fond of Racing, or Shooting games, so remove those games, and you're pretty much left with the New MGS as the only one I'm interested in... Alan Wake looks interesting but it's most likely Multi-Plat anyway, but in anycase, it wouldn't be a game I'd get.
Never played L4D1, so not interested in L4D2.... same for Crackdown, though that said, I'm sure had I played the first i'd be more hyped, but it is an exclusive, so I haven't played it, so I don't even flitter my eyelids at the announcement. I guess you can say that the same holds for Halo.
That's as silly as me saying sonys conference will be a borefest because I don't own the console.
Quote me where I said I disliked those titles? Many of those titles were talked about, and if shown, the trailers didn't captivate me. I did also say an OVERALL borefest.

What would be so wrong with MGS4 for the 360? The more people who taste that gaming experience the better!
I'd be upset with devs who flip flop like that too.
But yeah, solid conference. They had me at Modern Warfare 2, like holy crap that game just blew me away...and then of course, the one that sinked it was Left 4 Dead 2...I play the first quite often, so yeah, loved the trailer, must of watched it at least ten times.
Project Natal was a great way to end things, my god the possibilities with that thing is practically endless.
But glancing through the comments, I have to say it's much, MUCH better than I thought it'd be. Congrats everyone!
