The part where Molyneux came out and showed off Milo---holy shit!

    That's unbelievable.

It is unbelievable. However, what they showed isn't something you can truly trust, because that it could very well of been acted. This technology could quite possibly revolutionize gaming – and it could quite possibly be a useless gimmick in the long run. We'll see how it pans out.

My thoughts: a good idea that will be shat on by people who will abuse Milo in every conceivable way.

At least priests will have something to do.

Haha, well, I was under the impression that Milo was just a way to demo the capabilities of Natal. I don't think actual gamers will get to play around with him anywhere than maybe an expo/con.

Nah I think they will give an updated version of Milo free with it, Sorta like wii sports to show the tech off.

This tech looks amazing. Plus that milo thing was only after a couple of months of devs being given it!

Imagine what they can do with a year or two!!! This is going to be pretty awesome.

Year or Two? Isn't the next XBOX meant to be out in a year or two?

I can skip out on the whole driving an invisible steering wheel like a jackass, and removing tires in the pit stop. Milo is pretty damn cool, but that chick was annoying as hell. The paint party thing was pretty damn cool too.

Problem: Natal is NOT the primary controller. The Wii Remote and Nunchuk are. The 360 controller is the primary controller. Natal isn't. For all we've seen, it can be another Live Vision Camera.

Plus, Microsoft's audience isn't the same as the Wii's, which is going to hurt them.

Additionally, I don't see where Milo fits into this. That's not a demonstration of Natal, it's AI recognition.

Natal's tracking is impressive but I rather would have seen some goddamn games too. Thus, Natal failed to impress. Want an additional gauge of this? This Gamegrep article has only 43 hits after 4.5 hours. Some splash Natal did.

(I'm not holding my breath for Sony either.)

Natal was only shown to devs a couple months back, what do expect for them to create some massive block buster.

And lmao gamer grep views? Since when have you ever used gamer grep as a gauge for the popularity of products? Lmao.

Every single Wii game can now be made for xbox if the desire was there, the Wii just lost its one unique selling point.

At the very least we need to see SOMETHING new done with tech demos. Or are you comfortable with throwing paint around?

Yeah I am, things look pretty slick Making an elephant? that looked awesome. Also why Paint is one of the most used Windows apps. Plus that milo shit was awesome, how was that not new? That stuff was pretty amazing. Drawing pictures and actually handing it to the game character and then them ACTUALLY recognising it and talking about it? Wtf that's true next gen.

Do you even understand what a tech demo is? To show how the tech works, not to make some huge as game. The tech demo presented how the tech worked in that break out game by showing how it tracks 3d moments such as how you can kick the balls and the harder you move your hand the camera picks it up and hits the balls harder. etc. Tech demo, not game demo.

That stuff was only the very basics of what the tech can offer, it can provide some awesome gaming moments in the future.
For example, in mass effect at the moment you choose your responces manually.

But what if when the character spoke you could actually speak back properly and they recognise your emotions and respond. That would be awesome, and thats what they have right now anyway, they could integrate that into mass effect 2 if the wanted.

Non games? Lol mate you need to crawl back into your hole. As long as this is fun, then I'm game. Unless it turns out to be crap, but from what I have seen its not looking that way. You gotta admit that elephant trick was slick.

And lmao, comparing milo to a dating sim, please. No wonder your article on it was so poor.

Although it's a cool idea and done well, I won't be spending money on this. When playing videogames I prefer to use a controller and buttons. I don't want to pretend I'm driving a car or skateboarding.

I must say, even though I'm not a fan of this kinda thing, the technology is pretty god damn impressive.

Microsoft have hit the ground running and shown me something spectacular. Apologies if Natal is nothing new or interesting to you Americans, but little me here in New Zealand, is excited. They absolute caught my attention and turned a solid conference into a spectacular one.

I just adore the competition between these companies. And Microsoft, the jab at the Wii towards the end of the conference was extremely comical. Kudos to the developers of Natal, and they have my full support financially and emotionally. I would seriously donate to see that project grow. Fabulous and I simply cannot get over it. Spent the entire day googling its features and reading peoples blogs (and I dont usually read silly little blogs).

This morning I was harsh in casting off their conference as lacklustre when I had only watched it upto the very beginning of the Natal speech (I knew from a blog than Natal consumed the entirety of the rest of the conference and
switched off). Watching Natal was godlike.

I am so going to punch Milo in the face, or strangle the little shit.
    Voice pissed me off.

Milo is very Fable oriented (a game in which, you virtually want to punch everyone for there annoying whiny British accents)

Awesome idea, hands down the thing at E3 that made me jealous that I only have a ps3. This is something that all consoles need to have next generation.
