Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr were at the Microsoft Convention to help introduce Beatles: Rock Band, much to the delight of many fans. Also the new guitars and drum set was introduced.

    Sweet! The Beatles are awesome, and a rock band game would be totally cool. I might pick this up soon.

    Haha that's actually pretty awesome that they came out to introduce it. While I was watching the conference, for a second there I thought they'd hired really good look alikes. xD

      I think it's great that they allowed Rock Band to make the game, Beatles songs are some of the hardest to get copyright permission to use.

        That's true. I'd completely forgotten how strict they were when it came to licensing. Maybe that's why they got their own game instead of just track packs. If they've approved them then might as well use as many songs as you can.

    Perhaps the worst celebrity-based promo for a game.

    They came out, waved, and then fumbled for words while Ringo tried several times to leave. It was actually kind of awkward. You felt like they didn't know what a video game was.
