Rumoured just yesterday, it has been confirmed that Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker will be releasing on the Playstation Portable.

It is staged 10 years after Metal Gear Solid 3, and so is the true sequel to the game - set in 1970's, and will be worked by most of those that worked on MGS4. A trailer for it was also shown, and can be found on GameGrep in a number of hours...

Notes that from the trailer it is clear that you play as Big Boss. The railer ended in true Metal Gear fashion, with the infamous MGS Box being shown as well as the cautionary 'Exclamation'.

I loved this trailer, almost makes me want to get a PSP...almost. This along with PSP Go! would make a great bundle, imo. MGS3 is my favorite of the series, and this being the sequel to that instantly gained my attention...but what was up with the four Snakes at the helicopter scene? xD

    Haha, the ending was great.

Now this looks like a real Metal Gear Title, none of that "lightning bolt action" stuff.

I'm wondering whether this will be a Portable Ops expansion or an actual Metal Gear game. I do hope they keep some aspects of the soldier recruitment within the game though.

It's an actual MG game following events after MGS3.

Now that explains the image of "Big Boss" at the NEXT teaser. The man indeed is Big Boss, with what appears with a military overall.

Anyway, I gotta agree with Storm - who are they, the 3 Snakes? Becuase for being clones, they can't just grow to 40 years in 40 minutes.
