Marvel have now released the first 16 out of 24 characters for the new and upcoming Marvel Ultimate Alliance game.

It also appears you can snag yourself Juggernaut from a Gamestop pre-order, but considering that most EU players can't get to a Gamestop, i'm willing to bet it'll be on the marketplace after a while.

Need a scorecard for this fall's "Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2"? Are you one of the "MUA" fanatics who wants to start planning out all your possible dream teams well before you can get your hands on a controller? Don't sweat it, we've got ya covered.

Not another gamestop pre-order exclusive feature.

To be honest, this is the one time I'm a bit upset about the pre-order bonuses. I'm usually fine with them, but with these games it seems having another character adds a LOT to the game.

But since I'm usually okay with the pre-order bonuses I guess I can't complain just because it's one I really don't like the idea of having.

    Juggernaut's in this? Sweet.

Can't really think of any more Marvel character which I think really 'need' to be in this, anyone got ideas for the other eight?

Nice This is a game I'm looking forward to.

I'm just wondering if they've changed any gameplay features and such from the first one.

My goodness Wolverine's classic costume just keep looking more mature and better!

In the cartoons and games, it look sort of weird, but Wolverine's Origin and this game are making it look nice!

I don't know, it's looking more and more "homemade" and less professionally made. I can see how some like the homemade look (adds realism and such) but me . . . I don't know, maybe deep down I like to think all the superheros are awesome at creating their suits---or they get them made by a pro like in the Incredibles haha.

That's what I mean, it looks more realistic (though I was focusing on the collar, not the zipper -- didn't even see that zipper Lol. But like I said, I guess I'm kinda liking the whole thought of the costumes being immaculate somehow Lol

Don't tell me there are only 24 playable characters in this game...

I'm sure there'll be DLC characters, and there were plenty of unlockable characters in the first one, so I'm assuming 24 is only the core roster of characters.

Eh...money-hoggers. Yeah, there are more, but apparently they want us to believe there's 24...I suppose they are already unlocked from the beginning.

I don't know . . . How many were in the first game, does anyone remember?

It wouldn't surprise me if You only have the ones on a set side at first, and then you unlock the other characters as you free them from the other side (or get to them before the other side, thereby convincing them to join your side).

Supposed to take place during Civil War, there is plenty of room for characters. An odd thing, however, is that in the main Civil War story line, The Hulk is (i think) on a separate planet and doesn't even participate with the registration.

If they include Deadpool, Cable will most definitely make an appearance, probably as one of the playable characters.

Punisher will probably make an appearance, as well as a few lesser known ones (New avengers).

Also, expect more villans to be playable. I forsee some Venom action.

Yeah, Cable has to be in it if Deadpool's still around.

I would like to see the Punisher as well. He's fairly active during Civil War, so it would make sense to have him around.

Does anybody have an idea on how having Juggernaut might affect online play ?

Like, if my friend has Juggernaut and I play multiplayer with him, would I be able to select Juggernaut if my friend is the leader of the game ?

I would say that Juggernaut will affect the gameplay mostly by people yelling "I'M THE JUGGERNAUT BITCH" in the mic at least 3 times per game.

However, I doubt that you'd be able to play as him if you didn't pre-order... I might be wrong though.

Well in the original MUA, if you didn't purchase the hero or villain pack and I was hosting with my save file, then you'd still get to play as those characters. So I'm guessing it'll work the same way.
