Electronic Theatre reports on the current state of the FIFA franchise in the videogames industry, and reports on an interview with the series' Producer claiming that the latest title will please the fans regardless of its critical reception.
Electronic Arts (EA) have been getting a bad rap for many years now, namely with their EA SPORTS brand. As both a pioneer and a turning the industrial wheel, the publisher receives both praise and denigration in near-equal measure. However, the predictable reveal of FIFA 10’s development at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) last week has led to some critics discussing the title in a rather derogatory manner, before having even sampled the game.
