As reported by Electronic Theatre last week, Microsoft announced a brand new “Games on Demand” service shortly after their Pre-E3 Press Conference. This service would allow full retail releases to be downloaded directly from the Xbox LIVE! Marketplace to the consumer for a monetary value.

I'm assuming the games will be the full RRP, which I never pay for games. I think I'll give this a miss.

I'm guessing it will be cheaper, since they don't have to cover the costs of distribution and packaging as well as producing the physical disk.

It better be cheaper. Since it's all digital, I can't see them charging anymore than $45-50(maybe) for downloads. If it's still $60, I'm out.
