Dungeons and Dragons Online: Stormreach is set to go free-to-play this summer when DDO: Eberron Unlimited is unveiled. The upgrade will allow anyone to play, but will not be quite as unlimited as Turbine wants you to believe. Some classes will require good old-fashioned cash to unlock, and as you advance, the free areas become more and more sparse.

But at least it is free.

Let's not forget that giving the Dungeons and Dragons license to Turbine goes down as one of the top mistakes in MMO history.
